Broadbent Foods of Kuttawa celebrated National Pig Day with a cooking contest called the "Hammy Awards". The competition featured 19 entries, each using Broadbent pork products as the main ingredient.
The Best of Show Grand Champ award, also the winner of the Country Ham category, went to Beau Choate for his recipe of Broadbent's Country Ham Croquettes,
WKYQ's Dr. Jeff and Greg Dunker attended and acted as judges.
