The sweetest time of the year is almost here! The Murray Ice Cream Festival is September 10th & 11th, and this year, all the fun and activities are moving to Murray's Court Square! You'll have the opportunity to sample many different flavors of Purity Ice Cream , plus inflatables and a rock wall for the kids! Your five dollar admission buys a spoon to sample everyone's flavors, then cast your vote for the best... kids under ten can sample for just a buck! LABOR DAY FESTIVITIES

93.3 WKYQ hopes you and your family enjoy the final holiday of the summer! Be on the lookout for the WKYQ Rabbit at the Labor Day parades in Paducah and Metropolis! Don't forget about all the fun of the 35th annual Paducah Labor Day Festival at Carson Park this Saturday thru Monday! Arts and crafts, flea markets, food, and live music, including a free concert from Confederate Railroad on Saturday! The annual Lions Club-City Of Metropolis Labor Day Celebration at Fort Massac State Park cranks up right after the parade on Monday, with live music, activities, and food from the Bear on the Air!
