Wednesday, May 16th, from 2 to 7pm at Trace Creek Baptist Church  in Mayfield.

Thursday, May 17th, from 12:30 to 5:30pm at Fredonia Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Fredonia.

Friday, May 18th, from 1 to 5pm at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Mayfield.

In addition, the Paducah Donor Center located at 4635 Falconcrest Drive is open:

Monday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tuesday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For your convenience, you may now schedule blood donation appointments online at www.redcrossblood.org.  Donors may subscribe to Red Cross texting by sending redcross to 42227 or registering online at www.bloodisneeded.org .

Eligibility Requirements for Blood Donation To give blood you must be healthy, be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and not have donated blood in the last 56 days.  “Healthy” means that you feel well and can perform normal activities.  Medical staff will examine your health history and take your temperature, pulse, blood pressure and blood count prior to donation.  Your eligibility will be determined after the examination.  For a more complete listing of guidelines and how they are affected by various medical conditions go to www.givelife.org, click on “being a donor” and then “eligibility guidelines”.

There’s always something to do in Rabbit Country! Here’s what’s happening this weekend…

RELAY FOR LIFE CAR WASH-May 19th-9am to 3pm-Auto Zone-Mayfield-Get your car or truck washed and help fight cancer! The Lynnville Warriors Relay team will welcome all donations. The car wash will be held weather permitting. They’re also selling UK license plates and t-shirts. All proceeds will benefit the Relay for Life of Graves County, coming up June 8th at Graves County High School. You can get more information by calling Billie Damesworth at 270-382-3944.
