Paducah Power for Patients blood drive on Wednesday, Sept. 1 and Thursday, Sept. 2, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. at the Robert Cherry Civic Center located at 2701 Park Ave. in Paducah. Any Paducah Power System customer who presents to donate blood at this drive gets a $10 utility bill discount.
Monday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Christian Church located at 415 Audobon Drive in Paducah. All presenting blood donors receive a free car wash certificate, courtesy of Finish Line Car Wash.
Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church located at 1620 W. Main St. in Murray.
Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Wal-Mart located at 5130 Hinkleville Road in Paducah.
Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon at Lourdes Hospital located at 1530 Lone Oak Road in Paducah

Eligibility Requirements for Blood Donation To give blood you must be healthy, be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and not have donated blood in the last 56 days. “Healthy” means that you feel well and can perform normal activities. Medical staff will examine your health history and take your temperature, pulse, blood pressure and blood count prior to donation. Your eligibility will be determined after the examination.
