HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COCA-COLA!
One hundred and 27 years ago today, in 1886, Dr. John Pemberton of Atlanta came up with the secret formula for Coca-Cole syrup, while cooking over a fire in his backyard. At first he combined it with straight water, but a drugstore clerk used carbonated water, and that’s how Coke was born. Today, 38 million gallons are consumed on a daily basis.
Coca-Cola has some of the most memoriable TV commercials of all time. Remeber this one from 1971?
