MEL TILLIS 1932-2017
Singer. Songwriter. Comedian. Actor. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. Mel Tillis passed away on Sunday(11/19) at age 85. He developed a stutter as a child, which became his trademark. Mel had several Number Ones, including “Good Woman Blues” and “Coca Cola Cowboy”. He parlayed his musical career into acting, with roles in “W.W. and the Dixie Dance Kings”, “The Cannonball Run”, “The Dukes of Hazzard”, to name a few.
